Subject: [old-chevy-truck] Re: adjust pedal locations

Before anything else ;

Grab the pedals and see if they move side to side ~ if so , they can be
removed and have the bushings replaced . this is always the first thing to
do before attacking the cab mounts .

The boob DPO of my old '46 3100 , just chopped up the toe boards to clear
the pedal arms ~ they make a paricular screeching noise as they rub the
sheet metal ~ used to be very common , I've not hear that since the 1980's .

this adjustment? I have reviewed the shop manual regarding disassembly and
reassembly, but nothing seems to answer the direct issue of repositioning
the location. Any help greatly appreciated.
