The U-Joint should be liberally lubricated with gear oil as you assemble it , 
then remove the 1/2" NPT filler plug on the right side of the transmission and 
slowly pump in EP85W- gear oil until it burps back out then wait a while and 
add a bit more ~ the U-Joint cavity fill slowly by flowing the oil through the 
out put shaft's rear ball bearing so this takes time , DO NOT RUSH filling the 
tranny with oil .

I hope you remembered to add a 1/2" NPT _magnetic_ oil drain plug ? .
