Ok, no other option? I am physically not near and its “just” a test pool so I can kill it and start over. If I try the import option, should it recognize the metadata of the devices and reuse it? Br, Rune

Then move the drive/hba and import the pool (zpool import pool-name). If putting the drive/hba back isn't an option, you could try a forced import with 'zpool import -f pool-name'.
