The SUNWmd[ru] packages contain several objects with installation class
"legacy."
The checkinstall scripts for those packages will only append "legacy" to
CLASSES when upgrading from a pre-Solstice Disksuite 4.2.1 installation. So
for Solaris 8 and later upgrades, and for fresh installations, we won't process
the legacy class, and those objects will not be installed on the system.
We either need to remove this from the svr4 packaging now, and be consistent at
the time of the IPS transition, or we need to keep track of them and make sure
we don't carry them over into the IPS world at transition time. Hence this bug.
For the recored, these were detected using the not-yet-integrated python/IPS
protocmp, which reported the following among "Entries present in manifests but
not proto area:"
