Hello Marco, We are not able to see the additional 5 VMs created by the DCAE.
I have configured “/opt/app/dcae-controller/config.yaml” file with correct properties ( OPENSTACK-TENANT-ID, TENANT-NAME, PRIVATE-NETWORK, public_net_id ). I tried to execute “/opt/app/dcae-controller-platform-server/bin/controller-startup.sh” manually, as per my understating this script is responsible for the creating the new VMs. But I am seeing error messages [1] on executing the script. Could you please help us to understand this issue. The DCAE controller spins up 5 additional VMs off the Heat template. This takes about 25 minutes, plus configuration time. Overall, please allow about one hour before running health checks. The VMs may be ready but still getting configured (the Hadoop/CDAP cluster takes the longest). Regarding point 3) that you mention, those floating IPs will be used by the 5 additional VMs that DCAE controller spins up. If they are not in use, it’s likely that those VMs haven’t been created yet.
