Moderate NW winds. High in the low 40s. Count conducted from the South Lookout. Raptor Observations: A slow but steady flight, with most migrants high and difficult to spot against the blue sky. Turkey Vultures were most numerous with 81. Sixty broad-wings. Small numbers of other expected species. One immature Golden Eagle. A Merlin was chasing a kestrel around at the end of the day but then they both perched in the same tree. Winds NW at 5-10mph. South Lookout.
