The individual needs to know how to build out new Arcsight hardware and perform Content (Rules, Dashboards, Reports, etc.) from an existing Arcsight ESM / Express instance to a new instance that will replace and/or supplement the current instance. Experience / Skillsets: · Installation, configuration, and content management within Arcsight ESM and/or Express components. · Knowledge of Arcsight Logger and Connector configurations a plus. Knowledge of Symantec Critical System Protection / Datacenter Security Server a plus. Location: Cumberland, Rhode Island Scope: · One (1) ESM Installation Upgrade and Migration from ESM 6.0 to 6.9p1 · Four (4) Express Installations and Migrations *Required Staff: 3* Objectives: · ESM software / Express appliance installation and configuration · Content Migration (and potentially some development) · Testing / Validation post-migration · Troubleshooting and Analysis · Management of User Acceptance Testing *Arcsight Connector Configuration / SmartConnector Migration* This role will be responsible for configuration of Arcsight Management Center (ArcMC) appliances and migration of Connector Agent configurations from one older Arcsight Connector appliances to the new ArcMC environment. Experience / Skillsets: Installation and configuration of ArcMC appliances; migration of Connector Agent configurations. Experience with various types of SmartConnector deployments, including Syslog, Windows Event Collector, JDBC, file (NFS/CIFS mounted filesystem), etc. Location: · Cumberland, Rhode Island · Scottsdale, Arizona Scope: · 8 ArcMC Devices (4x Rhode Island, 4x Arizona) · 61 Arcsight SmartConnectors · 30 Syslog Receivers *Required Staff: 2 (1 RI; 1 AZ)* Objectives: · ArcMC installation and configuration · Migration of 61 SmartConnector and 30 Syslog Receivers · Validation and Testing of SmartConnector configurations · Troubleshooting and Analysis · Decommission of old Arcsight Connector hardware (approx.. 28 devices) *Arcsight Logger Configuration / Data Migration* This role will be primary responsible for building out new Arcsight Logger devices and migration of data from old Arcsight Logger devices to new devices. Experience / Skillsets: Knowledge of Arcsight Logger Appliance platforms; knowledge of connector configurations, receivers, storage groups, peering, etc. and best practices associated with these configurations. Location: · Cumberland, Rhode Island · Scottsdale, Arizona Scope: · 8 Logger Devices (4x Rhode Island, 4x Arizona) · Migration of approx... 28TB from old to new devices *Required Staff: 2 (1 RI; 1 AZ)* Objectives: · Installation and Configuration of new Logger Appliances · Configuration of required Storage Groups, Receivers, Peering Groups, etc. · Data Migration from Old to New Devices · Validation and Testing of Migrated Content · Decommission of Old Logger Devices (16 total; 8 RI, 8 AZ) *Arcsight / Windows Event Logging SME* This role’s responsibility will be to onboard Windows Event Logs from approximately 2300 devices throughout the infrastructure. This individual will need to have experience specifically with implementing Windows Event Logging through Windows Active Directory (AD) GPO configurations, establishing proper logging policies within AD GPO, and implementation of the Windows Event Forwarding / Collector (WEF / WEC) services. Experience with configuring and implementing Arcsight WUC/WINC SmartConnectors within the WEC a plus. Individual will be working primarily with Windows Server teams to implement controls, and must be able to communicate clearly the requirements and expectations. Experience / Skillset: Skillset will primarily be with implementing Windows Event Log collections within large environments to a sets of Windows servers running Windows Event Collector (WEC) services. Knowledge of applicable GPO configuration to enable Windows Event Forwarding (WEF) and Logging Configurations required. Experience with F5 configurations a big plus; experience with Arcsight WUC/WINC SmartConnectors a plus.
