Hello,
On the french forum, we have many hyperlinks to ex-QA website like:
h**p://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=XXXXX
This is jump to a "not found" page.
Is it possible to have an automatic redirection to h**ps://
issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=XXXXX
We'll need to ask Apache Infra to do this. I think that like for
ooo-site.apache.org / www.openoffice.org the following steps will do the
trick:
(1) Change the DNS zone for qa.openoffice.org to point to
issues.apache.org.
(2) Add qa.openoffice.org as an alias for issues.apache.org in its
httpd.conf.
Won't this completely overwrite the current contents of
http://qa.openoffice.org
In other words, you won't be able to get to what is currently on that site?
This won't work. because the issuetracker is not related to
qa.openoffice.org. You can use any aviable subdomain at ooo. This means
that *openoffice.org/issues will work
And there are other problems. There are still a load of links who point
to the old IssueZilla system. Bernt Eilers wrote a redirect script for it.
We have to replace this redirect script too.
