I wrote a guide for Linux on the Forums that covers almost every variant: rpm, deb and "local" installs (uncompressing packages and changing user profile location) http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=50119 it needs some minor fixes because of the new packaging names (I'll do this soon): you can borrow it ;) Regards Ricardo
