I've ground to a halt porting the current version of the GNU build system that is required to build ooRexx on Z. I'm working on this with the good guys from dovetail software who also have a vested interest in porting autoconf. We've submitted a project proposal (o4z-gnutools) to SourceForge so we can start working on this. It looks like it's going to be a long slog.
