Greetings ooRexx'ers,
Is there documented how the ooRexx team sets up instances of Linux on the build
server?
If so, I would contribute time to set up build instances for LTS releases of
Ubuntu.
Just as the answer for what to run on 22.04 LTS was not the version built for 24.04 LTS.... I am not going to drop all the way back to a package built for 16.04 LTS on 22.04 LTS. There have been major
changes to how Daemons are run on Ubuntu. Just guessing.... the 16.04 way vs the 22.04 way are different, and likely the 16.04 package of ooRexx will not work properly on 22.04 either.
During the time period ooRexx 5.0.0 was stable, the team did have a 22.04 build
machine instance.... as there was an official package produced.

Nope, I purged ooRexx 5.0.0, installed the package for Ubuntu 24.04, and get:
$ rexxtry.rex
rexx: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38' not found (required
by /usr/local/bin/../lib/librexx.so.4)

Going back to ooRexx 5.0.0 for now.
