The build system is (rudimentary) documented in the document oorexxbuild.pdf. I 
just realized it is missing in 5.1.0 but you can get it here

That is very kind, but I have a Ubuntu 22.04 in the pipeline already. I got 
stuck on an issue so I need to rebuild it, will not take to much time but I 
have TWO tax declarations in the same pipeline before I can address this so 
please bear with me for another day or two.

I completely agree, and IMO Ubuntu 22.04 is a better Ubuntu than 24.04 (my 
personal view)

Indeed it was a huge mistake to give in to Ubuntu nagging you to „Upgrade“ :-)
