This is for future planning, just an idea I was thinking about after looking up LCD FPGA interface and I got interrupted by an OGP email :-)

Would it be reasonable to have an interface board for laptop LCDs come off the IDC connector (or somewhere else on the board)? If that would be possible, it would be a HUGE boost in sales. There are thousands or more case modders (I am not one!) who would be willing to pay an extra $100-$200 for a video card with Laptop LCD connections, simply because discrete laptop LCD connectors cost in the order of $275-$350. This would be the favorable video card for 2 niche markets, which is always nice.

If we could pull that off, it would be something that AMD and Nvidia would not have an answer for, because they don't have, to my knowledge, any PCI/AGP cards with a Laptop LCD interface.
