I didn't realize that OGC wasn't going to have the IDC connector, but I suppose that makes sense if it is going to be an ASIC. If OGC isn't going to have an IDC connector, we could always put the LCD connector on the main board (assuming we want to have an LCD connector). It should probably be up on the top of the board, where it is easiest to attach to a display (and since it will be half-height, the LVDS cables won't be pinched up there).
What I want to do, within reason, is put various video output standards on TRV10. LVDS for laptop monitors is one of them. We'll hack up an OGD1 board at an appropriate time for that feature. What matters for TRV10 is having the physical signals. With even small amounts of revenue, making PCB's is not nearly as hard as making an ASIC. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
