It _is_ a fairly trusted site (run by the FSF, as opposed to
strangers), but nevertheless, I don't know if I agree with sending
this to the mailing list, kind of spam-like. I did sign the letter
though, I confess.
You can sign the letter with your own name all you like. Also, OGP in
general stands against DRM, but we always need to be careful about how
we represent ourselves. Also, if you join this mailing list yourself,
and there is an especially interesting post you get, use your
judgement, but you can forward the relevant portions to the list.
It's about the same as mentioning a slashdot URL and maybe quoting a
really interesting line.
