I have two thoughts about how we collect information about libraries running
Evergreen.

1. At a minimum, I think we should add a step to the Evergreen
installation/upgrade instructions that says something like "Please email
[address of whomever wants to maintain the list] with your organization's name,
city, and a link to your organization's website." We could also ask for
version information, depending on how important we think that is.

2. If we want to do more than send emails to a wiki page manager, we could try
something like the former RSCEL, which used to contain an online directory of
Evergreen libraries (http://rscel.evergreen-ils.org/). It sounds like the site
was taken down in or before July 2013. I think it was an improvement on the
wiki approach, though it still required individual sites to register and
maintain their Evergreen info. Here are some recent conversations about it
RSCEL. Does anyone know if there are any plans to revive it or to do anything
similar?
