Lauderdale, FL Duration: Long Term The Key Skills Are QA, SAP AND HR Interview Process: Webcam To Hire Rate:$45/hr MAX * Position Summary: The Tester will verify that the SAP-HR and MSS portal under test meets project requirements by performing system testing after initial development has been completed. At a high level the Tester does the following on projects: Assist test lead in planning and estimating the test efforts Responsible for creation of test documentation and assets after analyzing the project’s requirements Creates required test cases and the required test data for SIT and UAT Executes test cases and support resolution of defects Reports on test status and raises test-related risks Supports UAT and hyper care The Tester must be capable of assisting in the resolution of complex project problems, and communicating concepts to audiences with mixed levels of technical & business abilities. The candidate must be recognized by his/her peers as an acknowledged “expert” in the area of testing. The candidate must have the ability to make sound decisions and to communicate the effect of those decisions to a broad audience. Primary Accountabilities: This individual works with IT project teams to carry out system test efforts. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to: Test Planning Support the Test Lead in delivering following responsibilities: Tailoring standard test processes to the project Developing and communicating the Test Approach Developing and communicating the Test Plan Developing and communicating the Test Project Plan Test Execution Responsible for creation of System Test Cases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts Responsible for executing the System Test Cases Responsible for supporting the UAT Participating in defect review meetings and support defect resolution Reporting testing progress and status to the test lead Working with the technical team to ensure the SAP-HR module, MSS portal and other integrated systems’ test environments are configured appropriately for testing Acting as the point of contact for test team questions Post-Implementation Supporting resolution of defects during hyper care phase Participating in the post mortem with Test lead on test processes and tools Ensuring the final status of test assets corresponds to the project’s final state Service Orientation Be able to execute detailed delivery tasks. “Ramp up” quickly to a proficient level on new processes, tools and technologies. Demonstrate high “Speed of Delivery” and the ability to effectively multi-task between different initiatives. Teamwork Recognize that the purpose of technology is to serve the needs of our clients, project teams, and business objectives. Maintain a cooperative, “can do”, service-oriented attitude Develop relationships with project leaders and team members, and be recognized as a technical and process authority and a valuable and available resource. Mentor junior test team staff in the application of test process and technology. Professional Communications / Attributes Use mature professional language. Demonstrate proficient writing skills (crisp and concise). Demonstrate initiative to lead with only “high level” direction. Understand when to speak and when to listen (listens effectively). Qualifications: The Tester must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills. The individual must be flexible, dependable, capable of multi-tasking, and quickly learning complex concepts. The individual must be expert in the area of testing with an understanding of test tools and how those apply to the overall testing process. The Tester should have a solid understanding of: Test process/methodology Test tools (HP Quality Center) The Tester should also have a strong knowledge of: SAP-HR module SAP-HR Test data preparation Data driven testing and analysis Test Case creation and execution, Metrics reporting.
