Job Title : SQL Developer/DBA Location: Richardson, TX (ONLY LOCAL) Duration: 6 Months Contract. *REQUIRED Skills : SQL Programming, SQL Server2005 and/or 2008, SSIS and SSRS * SKILLS: * Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy. * Uses tuning tools to improve database performance. * Expert level knowledge in SQL programming. * SQL programming, writing stored procs, data modeling knowledge, writing SSIS and SSRS * Proven problem solving and debugging skills. * Fine tune existing Stored Procs and SQLs. * Experience in a structured development environment utilizing SQL Server2005, and/or 2008. * Microsoft SQL server administration is preferred. * Works with the application development teams, focusing on the back-end portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed. * Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical ability. * Experience designing, coding, and maintaining complex stored procedures. * Experience with participating/performing database code and design reviews. * Experience working with application code teams in developing/delivering/modifying database objects (especially Stored Procedures) as per project requirements. * The ability to work individually and as a member of a team with potentially tight time frames. * A strong work ethic, strong problem solving skills, ability to multitask, and solid organizational and communication skills.
