Dear, I've compiled open-vm-tools-2009.07.22-179896 on a Debian 5.0.2 (Lenny) running kernel 2.6.26-2 as a ESX 3.5.0 VM and loaded the compiled modules. However the ESX server VI client shows still VMware tools "not installed" for the VM. How can I solve this?
