I misunderstood your question. This is a bug that has since been fixed in VC, and this will be available in our next VI update release.
Meanwhile, this is available as a VC patch. Can you install the same, and report your results? You can obtain our patches from http://support.vmware.com/selfsupport/download/allpatches.html as your starting site.
