Hi,

I just found open-vm-tools and I'am really glad to hear that there is an oss alternative to the vmware-tools.

I just installed the freebsd open-vm-tools port on FreeBSD 8.0 and everything went fine. Unfortunately, clipboard sharing did not work, even after adding the corresponding rc.conf entries and rebooting.

I was not able to find any documentation (beside the packaging site in the wiki) on the project website, so my questions:

        * Is there any documentation? ;-)
        * Is clipboard sharing supported for freebsd?
        * Do I have to enable it using a plugin or sth. like that?

Thank you & regards,
Matthias
