Alright, three weeks and no-one's screaming bloody murder about this
proposal. Where do I take it from here to be officially blessed?

Well, it's been a week since I posed the mentioned question. I'll
take this opportunity to offer a reminder to speak up in case this
proposal affects you. I'll wait another week before taking the
proposal further.
Any sort of opinion, pro or con, is invited.

I'm going through the Solaris-related AFS client code right now
and cleaning it up a good bit. Something that would really help is
if support for Solaris versions older than 2.6 (ie: 2.0 - 2.5.1)
could be cut out, this really reducing the #ifdef mess.
Obviously, if this were to happen, it would be done in the OpenAFS
1.5 development branch only.
The basic question is: Is there any opposition to doing this?
