I don't think this is a good idea. I don't want to find out if the spammers have figured out how to sign up for mailing lists. If you send a message on rejection, you will guarantee an increase in spam posts, because the e-mail of the mailing list will now be "proven." > This would reduce the admin burden on spam filtering. If you don't want to handle spam filtering, that's fine, I can take you off the moderator list.
