Ah, but they're not. And even with the changes in CFSCRIPT that were
introduced in CF 9, it's still not nearly as rich a language as JavaScript.

Disagree with you here--JavaScript is pretty much the lingua franca of web
development. Why not allow people to leverage it fully in their CFML apps?
