Sorry If I am being frustrating.. I just took a big circle back to what I was doing originally.
I don't see it as a problem.. I had originally posted on devshed about how to best achieve what I'm trying to do, and I was referred to cfcache by CFML moderator, stating it gave more granular control and better performance than the basic cfquery caching mechanism. So I was looking at CFCACHE and how I could use it to cache a query and do queries against that cached query.
