May I suggest Razuna? It is a Digital Asset Management System that is build on top of OpenBD and with the shared features you can create shared folders.
Also our AIr based Desktop tool, has a new feature that will allow you to create a Gallery. Mainly downloading those assets to your desktop and create a html file gallery.
