Absolutely you can contribute. Either building functions/tags or helping flush out the documentation.
There isn't that many tags left. The stuff we haven't bother doing is the stuff people don't seem to need or want. There is a lot of fluff in acf that has come over the years. That is only natural. We have never competed tag-4-tag instantly as we wait to see if the community actually wants it. That said, there is lots of new tags we introduced first (cfthread, cfdump, cfimage etc) that they also incorporate. There other tags that I was told they were looking at recommending including (cfjavascript/cfstylesheet) before they disbanded their cf product group. So at this moment, we don't believe we need to keep uptodate with acf. We have our community who have their needs and we wish to cater for them. We want to make sure any cfml developer coming to openbd can get started very quickly (openbd desktop) and then start developing and making money (or saving money) with their web creations.
