I know i have to share more information to have it solved :) but i was just trying to support the belief that it is because it is in CFML. Not to get you to solve it or anything near that. Anyway, so you (folks) are saying that that belief has no inherent technical or architectural basis. Like Java used to have for being interpreted during run time or being a one more layer of abstraction.
Assuming that you guys are being honest about "CF is slow" is downright false i am motivated to consider moving semprecious.com to openBD...will have to identify areas of non-supported tags and inconsistencies first. A tool to do that is good idea but lot of effort :) -nitish 2011/8/20 Matthew Woodward <[email protected]> > On Sat, Aug 20, 2011 at 9:07 AM, nitish pandey <[email protected]>wrote: > >> We face terrible amount of dropped requests on my e-commerce >> www.semiprecious.com despite huge RAM. > > > You'd have to share waaaaaaay more information about what issues you're > having in order for anyone to even begin help troubleshooting.
