I think this discussion very quickly got off into a context that has
nothing to do with the topic at hand here--this isn't about how dead or not
Flash is (I'd argue 'pretty damn dead' but that's for another thread), this
is about whether or not OpenBD will support Flash remoting connectivity in
exactly the same way Adobe CF does. The decision at this point is we won't,
and IMO that's a decision that makes all the more sense given Adobe's
recent announcements.

You can certainly get your data into Flex in other ways, and following up
on what I said a second ago I'd argue that doing it in a more generic way
like JSON or XML makes your service layer much more flexible and usable by
other clients, or if you absolutely need to have Flash remoting then there
are other products that address that.
