Ok first things first

What platform are you running OpenBD on ?

Check the System Infromation screen under blue dragon administrator to
actually see that the memory settings you've changed have had any effect,
if not thats the place to start.

There really is nothing special about cffile upload whether triggered by
ajax or not.
