When we accept an upload we do no buffering in memory, it goes straight
to disk. So this out-of-memory heap thing you are seeing is probably
down to something else. As Alex noted, what App Server are you using
for you OpenBD engine?

Check the System Infromation screen under blue dragon administrator to
actually see that the memory settings you've changed have had any
effect, if not thats the place to start.
There really is nothing special about cffile upload whether triggered
by ajax or not.
