I think you misunderstood me, btw, I was not talking about compiling the o'bsd kernel! I was refering to the GNU/Linux kernel of my other pcs, since ubuntu seems to ship an OS without the ability of mounting ffs... therefore this would require that I compile the ubuntu kernel.
I know, better said I do not know, what an o'bsd kernel is and thus I will not try to touch anything.
