You say you've unmuted all muted channels, but does that include input
channels? I can't get single a sound out of my (intel) auich0 before
setting inputs.dac.mute=off and inputs.dac to a (relatively high)
non-zero value. 

Also, outputs.master is useless, and instead changing
outputs.headphones is the way to go when setting main volume.
Actually, there's no line out on my card, so maybe this is logical. 

Given we don't have the same auich0 card models, there are probably
some differences. And don't expect every mixerctl value to actually do
anything.
