Thanks all for your help. I do appreciate it, and your reading your help
made me realize I forgot to add some info that I intended, but forgot.
I've used different DE's and window managers and the fonts/sizes are the
same. It's not related to xfce4, nor is it just with Emacs :) 
I've also gone through all the xfce4 settings and made sure that
settings are exact on the different systems. That includes video
drivers and resolution. All settings are exact on all systems (except
Windows 10 which I don't really use).  
I also installed Debian to compare, and it looks exactly same as
OpenBSD. That leads me to believe that maybe Slackware has adjusted the
fonts and sizes that they use.  
Since Debian and OpenBSD look the same, and Slackware is different, and
the one with the look that I prefer, I'll also  ask on their help sites.

Again, thanks, and I apologize for not adding the information about
other window managers and DE's.
