hi all,
I try to patch ca.c and def.c on OpenSSL 0.9.6b by refering to the
existing openssl-patch for 0.9.4. Does anyone already done this
before?
The reason I tried to do so is because I can't generate Req for the
CA key. It has "-subj unknown" in the Web server log file. Also has
"getTXT" error. My openssl version is 0.9.6b. The "openssl -ca
-status" is not working. Also "openssl -ca -updatedb" is not working
too.
My System:
OS = YellowDog Linux 2.0 for PPC (similar to RH 7.1, i386).
OpenCA = unstable/OpenCA-0.8.0-20010630.tar.gz
OpenSSL = upgraded to 0.9.6b from RH openssl-0.9.6-9.src.rpm
I also have updated the src/modules from OpenCA package with the
latest available from ftp site and re-install it. I am not very
familiar with Perl...so trying to edit OpenSSL.pm got me no where...
:-)
I try to follow closely with the Devel mailing list so that I can
help you guys in certain way.
Thanks.
