Also, there is a patch in X509 which prevents a infinite loop when the
certificate doesn't have X509v3 extensions. Please consider including it
as a bug fix.
Additional notes:
TODO:
- rewrite the error routines to suit what I proposed to Michael in
past emails.
- rethink the relationship with openssl, since it is comparable
with X509 as it provides an object witch should not be tied to openssl.
Suggestions are welcomed.
- needed for performance: a way to serialize X509 objects to be
saved in a database and retrieved without intervention of openssl. Do you
already have something in this direction?
- I think private keys should be handled in a way similar to X509,
there is something already done in the proyect?
