May anyone explain me how I can read the SMIME-Mail sent to new users??

Till now, I have no idea how to read this secure-mail, or my oulook doesn't
know.
I think I really need the pin in this mail, because I'd like to get the
private key. Over the public Web-Interface, I can only get the public one
(which is
OK, I know). I tried to the mail over the Web-Interface with the
serial-number of the cert, but then I get an INSTALLATION ERROR.
Does anyone know what to do??
