Jan, if you use the client browser to create the private keys and generate the 
certificate signing request then the user can read the s/mime mail (I think).

If you used the basic request then go to the public interface and download the 
pkcs#12 key pair (which includes the cert and private keys), you should be 
able to import the keys and cert into Outlook/IE.
