this sound wired - maybe it would be a good idea to get at the same level of what we are talking ;o)
You're right, I probably wasn't clear enough.
So here are the steps I followed:
1) just after OpenCa installation, I went to the CA, and followed the different steps in general/initialization.
2) first init step : Initialize the Certification Authority. It seems to work fine
3) second init step: Create the initial administrator. I had problems there.
3.1) Create a new request => worked fine
3.2) Edit the request => OK, I was able to edit the request, I was able to "submit the changed request"
3.3) Issue the certificate => when I click this, I was sent back to the home page of the CA, where the informations about the modules I use are dispayed.
4) I tried to validate the request in the RA, to see if it worked. I was able to approve the request, but not to sign it.
5) While writing this email I tried to follow another time these steps (from 3.1 to 3.3) to be sure not to say anything wrong. I was able to sign this second request. After the 3.2 step, I had the button "issue the certificate", and it worked.
conclusion:
I couldn't sign the first request for a CA operator, but it worked fine for the second requets.
I hope I'm clear, but I find all this a bit strange.
