Hi all!
Again, some Openprotect questions:
1. Yesterday, Mailscanner/Openprotect died without any reason, or
at least, without a log-entry. This has been unnoticed until
today, when we reasoned that something must be wrong because
of the lack of incoming mails :)
Restarting Openprotect did solve the problem, but unfortunately,
as I mentioned, there are no error entries at all in the logs.
I was wondering: do you have any kind of "monitoring" facility
installed which could check for Openprotect proccesses or
something similar?
2. Going back in the logs, I discovered the following error
message; since this is some days old, I doubt that it corelates
with the above failure. Do you have any idea what went wrong
here? I checked the obvious reasons (no disk space, no
sufficient permissions) but found nothing...
MailScanner[18349]: [New Batch] Found 2 messages waiting_
MailScanner[18349]: [New Batch] Scanning 1 messages, 1096 bytes_
MailScanner[18349]: [Virus and Content Scanning] Starting_
- Last output repeated twice - MailScanner[21356]:

file or directory_
MailScanner[14365]: [Could not open file

In any case, I'd love to hear your ideas!
Kind regards,
Georg
