Dear Matthew,
Hi, the openprotect install script did not create all the qmail files and accounts. I noticed that during the installation I used to create users (qmail, qmaild) manually? Now after the "sucessfull installation" /var/qmail/queue/mess is not there?
[EMAIL PROTECTED] qmail]# pwd
/var/qmail
[EMAIL PROTECTED] qmail]# ls
alias bin queue.in
[EMAIL PROTECTED] qmail]#
It seems I am missing lots of files for qmail; should I install them manually using Life with Qmail (http://www.lifewithqmail.org/lwq.html)instructions or reinstall using the openprotect scripts?
OpenProtect is a virus/spam filter for the following MTAs sendmail, postfix, exim and qmail. So, install qmail as your MTA and configure it for your needs. Now, install OpenProtect on top of your qmail install and all mails through your qmail MTA will be scanned.
