libtool --version
You may wish to upgrade to libtool 1.5. It solves all kinds of MacOS
X questions. This does sound like a parser problem. I haven't used
1.875, I currently use 1.75 without any problems. Our grammar is
correct, you may try downgrading it and see what happens.

it. it is probably
the version that comes with the December release of the developers tools.
I build it here all the time without any problems. In fact I've now
got a cool MacOS front end that will be released with our next
binary that will launch X servers, launch dx all from a nice app
(in fact there are icons on nets, cfgs, etc, and they can be
double-clicked.) It will also be drag-n-drop installation.
