Hi David,
I am posting after some time in the list. Was not able to
contribute much in the prev 2 months to OEJB. Looks like a lot of
progress has been made. Kudos to the people who made it happen. A
release looks like a good idea. What are the items remaining now
to be
completed for implementing the EJB3 spec?. Would like to start
working
on OEJB again.
I'll see if I can't whip something up.
Ok. http://people.apache.org/~dblevins/ds/ejb-3-roadmap.html
This is using a new swizzle plugin i wrote which is not quite ready
for prime time (needs caching), but when it is we can get it
installed on the ASF jira and get this in our wiki.
Ok, I fixed it up so it's ready to be used and got Infra to install
it, so ... (drum roll):
http://cwiki.apache.org/OPENEJB/ejb-3-roadmap.html
... ta-da!
Should reach our site pretty soon.

I've been wondering when we should start kicking some releases from
the 3x branch out the door. I can't seem to come up with a good
answer even in my own mind about when this should be.
Seems we're doing really great as far as functionality and
implementing EJB3 is concerned. We still have a ways to go, but
not
too far actually.
Should we start shipping releases? If so what do we call them and
when do we start? If not what do we need to get done?
Thoughts? (floor's open to all, committer or not)
