It is going to be a while before we can enable switching. We also need a hook into the lifecycle events of the engine, but we we already have that from Cayenne and I don't think it will be that difficult to get the same from TopLink. As for hibernate, we'll most likely have to use JPA interceptors to get the events.

Anyway, I'm going to focus more on compliance issues up front and then I'll add some more cool features like switching.
