Where you did it? I tried in the 'glide-native' case but it did not work out.

Richard and Khem, it seems to be related to Go itself. I'd like to
propose we add this to the class so  we workaround it for now until we
fix it properly.


I don't know if that a good idea - I had at least one tool that wasn't even producing binaries with this hack (gosec to be exact) - so if that would be added, then only as a very temporary fix. I would expect some newly introduced *security* feature in go linking to cause it, but I haven't found the time yet to check that in detail
