I think there are clear workflows in OpenERP for creating positive invoices (from sales) and negative invoices (from credits/refunds).
Are there cases where these two workflows don't meet the needs of Accounting users? This is usefull if a customer wants something credited on the same new debit invoice. But if the total amount of the whole invoice is negative, you can't reconcile the invoice, because 'by design' the balance of an invoice is always positive. And in this case it isn't. Creating a refund invoice is not always wanted and openerp does not restrict the enter of negative lines.
