for about $100 US you get a combo package. (1) ssh daemon to run on
either a server or workstation AND (1) client application. We have
been testing WinSSHd for the past 30 days and the functionality meets
our needs...SSH tunnel with the ability to script RDP as well as acess
the command line on the remote machine. Additionally, if you add the
M$ loopback adpater, you can map a local drive to a remote drive via
the ssh tunnel.

Lots of good information..too much to digest right now. Thanks so much
for your insight. I am pretty sure I still want to run a NAS at the
colo incase either server were to die. Atleast I would have backups of
my data. I'm still on the fence about tapes though. The colo wants an
arm-n-leg for this additional service...which is more expensive than
adding a NAS server to the rack.
