I just checked 2.6.18, it's still at 22. You might want to give the Coraid guys a little nudge to rectify that. The issue here is that the aoe.ko component is owned by the kernel. So having a new trove (which I'm building now), aoe6-kernel, also owning an aoe.ko component will result in a clash. Two ways around it: 1) rebuild kernel trove without aoe (overkill for a single module) 2) have the aoe6-kernel trove installed manually (not everyone needs jumbo frames and multipathing - so this is less of a sledgehammer vs peanut option) To install aoe6-kernel you'd need to pass the --replace-files options to the conary update command. I'll send another email shortly when aoe6-kernel is built. > > Is there a really fast set of instructions to get enough of the > development tool packages here to build the new version?
