Hi All

I thought I'd post some thoughts on things I'd love to see in 2.3, just
in case the developers don't have enough on their plates ;).

Snapshots of iSCSI volumes as well as export control of those snapshots

Bonding management, as well and better overall network management (jumbo
frames on/off etc, set ip address, dns servers, gateway etc).

Someone in the forums also mentioned an updated kernel for the new 3ware
cards. Is there anything stopping you from _not_ compiling the 3ware
driver in the kernel and just updating it as a module directly from the
3ware site like is done with other drivers? That would make support of
newer cards easier for people running older versions too.

Resizing of iSCSI volumes

An "Update" button in the GUI that runs "conary updateall"

When creating volumes, it seems to be a 2 step process, firstly you
define the volume size and type, then you have to go back into the
volume properties and setup access rights, could this be made into a
flow on process so after you setup the volume size/type etc and press
create, the next page you end up on is the new volumes properties.
Possibly even jumping down to the authentication area of the page. The
same could possibly be applied to the creation of a new physical volume,
from there we should arrive at creation of logical volumes rather than
back at the main volume page.

I think that's it for now, I'll probably think of more as soon as I hit
send.

Thanks
Dave
