As to the question about reverting the changes, does anyone know what
would be the minimum to back out in order to get the old behaviour back?
The UI changes came in as part of a pretty big refactoring patch, IIRC,
and probably many of the changes that have gone in later depend on the
refactoring, so reverting the UI stuff isn't necessarily easier than
fixing it.
Only couple of minor changes are necessary to fix the UI. I am going to
fix the '..' link.
